Brian Latko is a Partner in McKinsey’s Washington, DC, office and a member of the Medicaid capability area within the firm’s Healthcare Systems and Services Practice in the Americas. He has worked primarily on the relationship between state Medicaid programs and their Medicaid managed care organizations (supporting the design and implementation of value-based payment models at the state level) as well as on private payer corporate strategy and planning.
Before joining McKinsey, Brian spent several years in international development and global public health. He has helped more than a dozen countries across Asia and Africa to develop and implement their national health sector reform agendas through roles at the Results for Development Institute, United States Agency for International Development, and several other non-profit organizations.
Brian received a BS in management information systems from Case Western Reserve University, where he graduated summa cum laude; an MPA from the Harvard University Kennedy School of Government; and an MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business, where he was one of seven recipients of the Arjay Miller Social Change Leadership award.
