Robin Roark

Partner

Robin Roark, MD is a Partner in McKinsey’s Miami office who focuses on clinical operations improvements, supply chain optimization, pharmacy excellence, capability building, and transformational change programs within health care systems.  

Robin works with hospital systems and payors in the USA and Latin America to develop and implement clinical programs to improve quality of care, improve the efficiency of care delivery, and reduce the cost of care. Robin leads McKinsey’s Clinical Operations and Pharmacy service lines and is a member of the Health Systems and Services practice.

Prior to joining McKinsey, Robin was a clinical researcher at the Duke Clinical Research Institute. His focus was on innovative care delivery models and physician adherence to clinical guidelines.

Robin received his MD, MBA in healthcare management, and AB in Spanish studies from Duke University. Recent articles of Robin’s include “Translation of acute coronary syndrome therapies: from evidence to routine clinical practice” (American Heart Journal, 2015) and “The need for transformative innovation in hypertension management” (American Heart Journal, 2011).
