Maria Sodini

Associate Partner

Maria Sodini is an Associate Partner in McKinsey’s New York Office, and is a leader in the firm’s Healthcare Systems & Services and Organization practices. Maria’s focus is on organizational design and agility for health care systems. She also brings extensive experience transforming provider organizations and unlocking opportunities to improve clinical operations. Maria has worked with large healthcare organizations, both public and private and in the US and the UK, and her recent work has focused on improving access and unlocking existing system capacity, and also building the front-line capabilities and leadership skills required to transform organizations and adopt innovative care delivery models.

Maria received her MBA from Stanford University and BSE from Duke University in Biomedical Engineering. Maria was a former Business Analyst and spent time in both New York and London before obtaining her MBA and returning to the firm. In the interim, she has worked for the NHS at Imperial College Healthcare Trust, the largest hospital in the UK, where she focused on lean operations and performance improvement.  She also has internship experience at the US Department of Health and Human Services, working at the Office of Health Insurance Exchanges as part of health care reform.
