Ankur Agrawal


Ankur Agrawal, a partner at McKinsey’s New York office, is one of the leaders of the Healthcare Systems and Services Practice. He focuses on counseling healthcare systems, and pharmaceutical and medical device companies, on strategy and corporate finance topics. Ankur is the firm’s leading practitioner on healthcare M&A and has consistently directed M&A capability-building efforts at many large healthcare companies. He has also authored articles on corporate finance topics in McKinsey on Finance and has presented his work at CFO roundtables in Toronto, Boston and San Francisco.

Ankur received his BEng degree in mechanical and electrical engineering from IRIM&EE, India. As part of his course work, he was designated a certified chartered engineer from the UK’s Engineering Council. He also received his MBA from Harvard Business School, where he graduated as a Baker scholar.
